California Motorcycle Insurance Cheap Quote
When you purchase motorcycle insurance, the coverage you need is very different than that for an automobile policy. Since there is very little protection for the operator of a motorcycle, you stand a greater chance of sustaining more severe injuries than you would in an automobile.
Liability (Bodily Injury)
If an accident is your fault, Bodily Injury coverage pays for someone else's injuries. California law requires $15,000 per person injured in any one accident and $30,000 for all persons injured in any one accident.
Property Damage
If an accident is your fault, Bodily Injury coverage pays for someone else's injuries. California law requires $15,000 per person injured in any one accident and $30,000 for all persons injured in any one accident.
Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist
A must for anyone riding the streets today, Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist coverage will pay for your injuries by a person who is uninsured or by a person who does not have enough Bodily Injury coverage to satisfy your claim. While other motorcycle coverages protect the other person, or the other person's property, or your property, this coverage can pay your medical bills, lost wages, pain and suffering, and even future damages. In California, coverage of up to $30,000 per person injured in any one accident and $60,000 for all persons injured in any one accident is allowed.
Comprehensive
For losses such as fire, theft, flood, vandalism, Comprehensive (Comp) coverage goes beyond the damage associated with accidents. Decrease your premium by increasing your deductible.
Collision
Performance motorcycles usually require a larger deductible than standard bikes. In the event of an accident, Collision coverage pays for damages sustained by your bike.
Medical Expenses
This type of coverage will pay for your medical expenses if you are at fault.
